Welcome — the first post

The first post is the hardest. Everything feels equally overwhelming in every direction. What is actually truly important, quality content worth publishing on the internet.

The site

As a self-respecting nerd, I decided to research, experiment and build my own publishing system. The internet offers many engines that are more advanced and support multiple ways of pushing content onto the internet. Building your own publishing engine in PHP is a project in itself.

This does not end here. The internet is full of more challenging projects for which I most likely lack sufficient expertise. That has never been an obstacle before — merely a good excuse to drink coffee and discuss matters that truly count with colleagues. Depending on the quantity and quality of the coffee, numerous solutions present themselves.
